Tami, over on What Tami Said, is working on a Black Women and Marriage Project, which I am excited for. I think that projects like these, which highlight the diversity of opinions and experiences within the black female community, have the possibility of bringing the positivity back into discussions of black women, marriage, relationships and beauty. I mean, the positivity is there. It is within each and every black woman, but it will be nice to have a book about that instead of one that tells me I need to think like someone else.
