By now many of you may have heard about the Trayvon Martin case. After listening to the 911 tapes this morning, I got even more upset about it than I had been. It scares me and saddens me that tragedies like this continue to this day. It scares me and saddens me that my future children, that my nieces and nephews, my brothers and sisters, friends, etc. aren't safe in their own neighborhoods because of the color of their skin and assumptions, stereotypes, ridiculous crap...
Many bloggers have been writing about the case so I thought I'd compile some here.
